The band was formed back in 1990, but the line up of today was completed with the change of bassplayer in 1992. The music of the early years was a mixture of pop and harder rock. In the very beginning Crea played instrumental psychedlic rock. The sound of today is what some likes to call progressive, but we simply likes to call the sound "CREA". The sound is a mixture of this and that, but CREA is not a carbon copy of someone elses work or style. The main influences over the years are band like Saga, Rush, Marillion and Pink Floyd. We have tried to keep it as CREA as possible and we have also added alot of the 90´s aspects of progressive rock. The songs have become somewhat heavier, but still it is not as heavy nor does the songs contain the extreme complexetivity of the likes of Dream Theater. CREA is more about the arrangment and the harmonies of a song combined with technique. This is music without limitations and as Feuerabend once put it: " Anything goes"!
