The band was formed back in 1990 and the line up of today was completed with the
change of bass player in 1992. The music of the early years was a mixture of
pop, psychedelic rock and hard rock. Teh sound of today some people call
progressive rock or progressive metal, but we like to call it the Crea sound.
There is some inevitable influencese from the likes of Marillion, Rush, Pink
Floyd, Saga and Dream Theater.We have tried to keep it as CREA as possible and we have also added allot of the 90īs
aspects of progressive rock. The songs have become somewhat heavier, but neither
is it as heavy nor does the songs contain the extreme complexetivity of the
likes of Dream Theater. CREA is more about the arrangement and the harmonies of
a song combined with technique. This is music without limitations and as
Feuerabend once put it: " Anything goes"!
