| Tell us - what are the best things in life?
Music, shopping, friends, films, books, warmth and
happiness.

| What did you dream about last night?
I think it was something about Brian Wilson because I've
been reading about him a lot recently. He was scared and
lonely and confused. I'm not sure how I fitted into it.

| What's your favourite smell?
Just now it's the fabric conditioner on a jumper I got in a
swap with a girl from Gothenburg.

| Do you cry to pop songs? And which ones?
"The Kids" by Lou Reed always comes close. "Dream
Lover" by Big Star and lots of Beach Boys.

| When was the last time someone shouted at you?
It was last night, he didn't shout, but Jarvis told me off 'cos
he thought I was playing "Common People" wrong. It hurt
'cos I thought it was close to best ever.

| Do you close your eyes when you kiss?
Usually, but sometimes I experiment with eyes open.
Specially if the room has interesting lighting.

| Which is your favourite city in the world?
At the moment, I'm afraid it's London because that's where
I live and love. I'd like it to be somewhere more exotic
though.

| When were you last afraid? And what was so scary?
We were in an aeroplane and the pilot seemed to get bored
and start doing tricks. We appeared to be just floating for
ages and then he made a slalom approach to the runway.

Not having enough time to myself.
What's your favourite word?
Warhol.

| If you were somebody else would you fancy the person you are today?
Umm...being a nice person is so much more important that
looks, isn't it?

I always try to wear my necklace that says "SHEEPER"

| What's the best present you've ever been given by a fan?
A foot high doll of me wearing my red and black ski jacket.

| How do you indulge yourself?
I go shopping for books, clothes and records.

La Monte Young and Beach Boys.

"I mean really a lot".

I told my careers officer I'd be a pop star.
