I've choosen to call my personal website "The Sapient Page". Why? Because the Sapient Mind of Man is my foremost interest.

Man: mind and body

The impact of the sentient Mind in all its forms is tremendous. Man is as far as we know the only intelligent animal that is also aware of its intelligence. Man has the capacity to predict the outcome of her actions, and to take into account this outcome in a rational calculus of action. Man is also the only creature we know of that can wheigh the moral implications of her actions against the expected outcome.

The three virtues of Liberalism. I hold that any just society must be based upon these three pillars.

My interest in Science-Fiction has also spawned an interest in physics, both the extra-large perspective and the super-small. It is my ambition to provide some introductions to try to capture my own fascination for these subjects.

My work includes writing speeches and articles that other people hold or publish. Therefor I have a special interest in things well said or written throughout history. I have collected a lot of material that I hope to publish, if I find the time to convert it to a web-friendly format. Providing, of course, that there are no copy wright issues to face.
