Hear! Hear! - well said through history

As I work with political agitation, more specifically as a speechwriter in a lobby organization for small and medium enteprises, the Företagarnas Riksorganisation of Sweden, I have collected famous speeches and other sources of inspiration.

Some of them are classical / marketliberal texts, some of them are inaugurals of the presidents of the US, speeches that are sometimes more historicaly important then well-written. At least according to a modern listener. There are also some of the different Declarations of the Rights of Man that exists.

Inaugurals, speeches and articles:

Patric Henry, "Give me liberty, or give me death!", 1775

John Adams, first (only) inaugural address, 1797

Abraham Lincoln, first inaugural address, 1861

Abraham Lincoln, Gettysburg address, 1863

Declarations:

Magna Charta, from the time of Edward I, 1297

Bill of Rights, from UK, year 1689

Declaration of the Rights of Man, France, 1789

Bill of Rights, US constitution, 1791 -- present

Abraham Lincoln, Emancipation Proclamation, 1862

UN Declaration of Human Rights, 1948 (.pdf version)
