SA300,SA400,SA500 and SA1000 Specification
The SA300, SA400, SA500 and SA1000 are classified as 'high energy output' NDB Transmitters.
Qualifications: Meets applicable requirements of ICAO, FCC and FAA.
Frequency Range: 190-535 kHz, (optionally 190 to 1250 kHz in three bands). Synthesized (field programmmable), no parts needed.
Power Output: 100-1000 watts, (model dependant).
Spurious Emission: Radiated harmonics are typically more than -73dB below carrier.
Type of Emission: N0N, A2A, A3E (Optional), (GID with optional GPS beacon modulator), or any combination.
Modulation: Switching modulator / regulator, 0-95% internal 400 or 1020 Hz, eight baud Keyer, 7 WPM.
Noise and Hum Level: >40dB below 1000 watt carrier.
Input Power: 115/230V 15%, single phase 50-60Hz. or optional 144VDC or both with a switch over to batteries. Typical efficiencies: >70%
Metering: Power output, reflected power, PA voltage, PA current, percent modulation, audio input level.
Working Conditions: Continuous unattended operation, -50 to +70 degrees C, 0-100% humidity, non-condensing.
Dimensions: 48"H, 21"W and 26"D.
Monitoring: Automatic shutdown if tone, modulation, power or VSWR drift beyond an adjustable level. With a dual system, a shutdown signal initiates a transfer to the secondary transmitter.
Remote Maintenance and Monitoring (Optional):
Transmitter Read Functions: 21 Standard, including Forward and Reflected Power, VSWR, Modulation, Antenna Current, Temperature, Voltages and Currents and much more.
Set Functions: Transmitter ON/OFF, RF Level, Reset, Mode, Modulation Level and more.
