Rare Explorer reference number 5500.
This version of Explorer is 2mm smaller in comparisson
to the common 1016. Dial is marked :
Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, Explorer and
above the six a´clock position : Precision.
Serialnumber 3.431.xxx ca 1972 .Overall very fine condition,
25 jewel high grade movement calibre marked 1530.
Hands and dial are mint+++ with no discolouration or pitting.

This example has an original folded Oyster bracelet fitted.
The clasp is marked 1/71 indicating the year of production.
Very minor scratch on the crystal between 11-12.

The watch has a few months ago, been cleaned and adjusted
by an authorized Rolexwatchmaker here in Stockholm Sweden.

A simular watch was sold at the Ravenborg auction.
