Chalmers University of Technology is a very pleasant place on earth. At this most excellent school, you will find a great deal of different departments, but one of them that is very close to my heart is the Physics Department..

"Just the facts"

The world is a large thing, and with it comes problems such as "How many Chile Pesos do I get for a Turkish Lira?" Easy! Check the currency page! Another problem this brings is finding your way around the Web... a very helpful place for this is Yahoo. It bring more links then you will ever be able to use. A good idea is to use the search service it provides!

Internet and computers

Want to start coding your own Web page? First of course you need a tool to walk around in the web... something like you are using at this very moment. A very fnurtish tool for this is of course Netscape. If you have the wonderful Amiga, then you are sorry to say less fortunate... there is a reader, but at the time of this document being written, it is only a HTML 1.0 reader. (HTML is the language that the Web spins in) BUT! It is bound to get better! And it is known under the fabulous name of AMosaic!

One of the things that the Web got famous for, is the ability to have the amazing information of how much coffee there is in the kettle. Magazines. If you want to subscribe to one, then make a jump to The MultiMedia Newsstand. One magazine that I can strongly recommend is .NET.

If you are more into the moving picture thing, either on the silver screen or in a tube, then Universal MCA Home Site is worth a visit. Mr Video Productions Home Site gives you LOTS of nice information, and they also sell videotapes, such as Star Trek - The New Generation!
