Mudding is fun. Mudding is addictive. Mudding is lethal for the phonebill.

Back in 1989/90... I was fresh on this with Internet (never ever "InterNet"!), and a friend (read MacJoLo) revealed the magic world of mudding to me. The mere fact that I was connecting myself to a world-spanning network, and chatting with people from all over our globe was amazing!

It took lots of hours into its warm embrace... and it was worth every minute of it. I won't go into details of whom I am in the mud-community, but I carry the honour of being one of the very first wizards ever in the world of LPMuds (The first LPMud, later known as Genesis).

Nowdays? Seldom connected to any muds, but to keep up with old friends, read occasional mud-mails and, without any major success due to lack of time, maintain my area on IgorMUD.
