Our Canadian Family Trees

Listen to Oh Canada, the Canadian national anthem
or Du gamla, du fria, the Swedish national anthem (midi files)

Jeff was born and raised in Beaurepaire, Québec, Canada, a suburb of Montréal, in a family that has been in Canada for many generations.

On his Mum's side, the family is from Montréal, mostly, with a few people from Toronto and Kitchener. We have traced one line back to County Wexford, Ireland.

On his Dad's side, the family comes from southern Ontario, Toronto, Hamilton etc, Ireland and from Newfoundland, around Cupids Cove and Brigus.

Jeff and his Dad, winter 1971(?)
This is Jeff and his Dad in front of our house after the biggest snow storm I (Jeff) can remember in the winter of 1971-72.

We have two Canadian family trees (with information in English) starting with Jeff's two sets of grandparents:

When looking through the details, it is easy to get lost.

Open either the "direct ancestors" or the "complete tree". These will open in a separate window and work great as a map of the family!!

We also have two Swedish family trees (with information in Swedish). Click on this link to go the introduction to the Swedish trees.

We have not listed any living relatives, except those who have expressly agreed to have information about them published on the 'Net.
