We have a well functioning organisation when developing products. Being in close collaboration with industrial designer in parallel with the production has generated several award winning products and thriving businesses that can live well on their products.

We also have good contacts in the prototype production. Usually it takes no more than a few days to produce parts.

We are highly competent in mechanical design and engineering of enclosures for electronics in both metal and plastic. RÖS, Swedish U1 application, products are also an area we feel we have good experience in. Screenprinting films, overlays and graphic presentations are produced in well known applications suitable for both PC and Mac equipment.

Prototypes

Freeforming parts is a common way to produce physical parts in the prototype stage. Several principles are available. One of the most common is to use a 3D printer that can generate layer by layer components in liquid epoxy or plastic powder.

Delivery time is short and gives early a sense for how the product will look like. Ability to test installation, fit, appearance, ergonomics, etc..

 




Plastic

Benefits

Plastic components have advantages when production will be done on a larger scale.Other benefits include:
- Low detail price.
- More flexibel design.

Disadvantage

- Cost of tooling before production can begin.





Sheet metal


Benefits

Enclosures in sheet metal has advantages like
- Low initial cost
, usually require no special tools.
- Good shielding properties
.
- Short lead times
.



Disadvantage

- Limitations in the design, if special tools are not used

Overlayer/Screen

Overlays are used to cover up a front, or surface
in an enclosure. Overlays can also be provided with
membrane keys. Graphics is on the back
the overlay, which provides excellent protection.

Silicone Keyboards are components we also have designed.

 

 

 




Assembly instructions

Production data in the form of assembly instructions and
bill of material, BOM,
ensures efficiency in the production.

Installation instructions related to photography or drawing document.
With SolidWorks®, we can also produce animated instructions andexploded views.





Measurements

We can offer to verify and document products via measurements. We ourselves have access to a complete EMC lab for design validation ofEMC requirements for electronic products. Contacts withseveral measurement laboratories in Scandinavia also ensures third-party certification, if necessary.

We perform measurements of type:
- Shake, Shock, Vibration, Temperature and moisture
- EMC measurements
- RÖS, Swedish U1 application, measurements.
