October 8th, 1982
He was born Aaron Heinrich Brünter on October 8th in 1982. The name Aaron was chosen due to predictions of his parents that there child would be the next King of rock and roll (Elvis Aaron Presley). On that lovely October day they raised him towards the sky and praised him and sayed "dieses ist das wunderkind, das der folgende König des Rock N Roll" translated "this is the wonder child that is going to be the next king of Rock N Roll", not knowing that those very words was going to become a reality for the future generations to come... The early years At the age of 6 he was given his first drums by his father(Göran), an guitar amateur. Göran used to play songs to the beats that the 6 year old Heinrich made on the drums, while the both of them sang. His father and the rest of the family (Mother Eva and sister Hannah) all saw a talent at that early age, A obvius talent that was growing stronger and stronger every day. There was no question about it, he was going to be a great leader, a guiding light for many drummers... He was a natural born perfectionist In his early teens, he liked to imitate other drummers like Steven Adler(Guns n´Roses), Tommy Lee(Mutley Crüe) and play there drumsolos with a striking similarity. He took drum lessons from a swedish pro Jazz drummer(Gus) and even attended musical schoolarship but dropped out of the course because of the lack of challenge. And in his own band(Deny) he felt kind of creativly trapped. As Deny was holding him back with there simple non-complex straight on punk music he started roaming the streets and discovered alcohol and girls. It was sometime after Deny changed there name into Iceberg that Heinrich was feed up with the punk scene and decided to leave the band. The decission was a hard one, but he hade come to a point in his life when he thought "I don´t know these guys anymore". They hade drifted apart and Heinrich was the one to end the relationship. Because there was not many people in the scene that hade yet spotted Brünters talent, he took every offer he could get. At this time he got the opertunity to play during the very forming of the band Carnal Grief. Never hade Heinrich suspected that he was going to have such great impact on the music in the band. He hade also started playing drums in the band Disgraced but that band kind of died due to lack of interest of some of the members. His creativity took a turn During this time with Carnal Grief his skills evolved dramaticly. His creativity took a turn for the better. He started to make up all kinds of "sick" beats and drumfills. The fame took root and he got featured in several drum magazines and his face was often seen on the cover. Other pro drummers recogned him to be one of the best. And due to his groundbreaking new style and techniques, some even claimed him to be the very reincarnation of the great Gene Krupa. At this day Heinrich is still playing with the band Carnal Grief and are also from time to time doing workshops for VIC FIRTH and Zimbian all over the world. And from this day on he will always be one of the greatest inspirational sources for drummers worldwide. Long live the new king of Rock N Roll!!! |
