    Here is the new compact Windlass System from Anchormatic. The Windlass makes the hoisting of the anchor easy for everyone, especially if you are alone on the boat. You can deploy your anchor smoothly and easily from the captain«s chair. With the hand held remote control, you can control your anchor to the exact inch up or down (even if you«re on land). All this control is put at your finger tips with help from the automatic clutch engagement system.

    The drive motor is mounted within the drum. It«s central placement is key for the newly developed automatic clutch engagement system. The electronic clutch is a new constructed design with no moving pistons and completely enclosed. Since the webbing line is automatically feed on the drum evenly, it makes the whole hoisting process trouble free. The entire winch weighs 41,8 lbs. and takes up very little space.

    The webbing line is made of high strength polyester. Breaking strength is 3 tons (stronger than 1/4 inch chain). Because the line is polyester, it is very soft to handle and weighs very little. This will not add unwanted weight to your boat and makes buoy tying easy. It also does not add seaweed and tear to your boat, like traditional chain anchor systems do.

    new out-gearing Thanks to the new out-gearing technology the Windlass System has a 90 percent degree of power transfer efficiency (compared to the traditional gearing of 45% efficiency). This gives the Windlass double the pulling power in proportion to the engine size. It makes it extremely energy efficient in both the 12 or 24 volt models.

    automatic stop and mounting techniques The electronics has a new unique function designed to meet the specifications of the Swedish Army. It performs an auto shutdown if the system is overloaded and restarts itself automatically. The automatic stop cuts the current flow and allows the anchor to move slowly to a parked position and then goes back to automatic mode, restarting the system. Now that the automatic stop and counting mechanism is integrated into the winch housing, it eliminates unnecessary extra wiring, making installation easier.

    control panel functions

    The digital counting mechanism shows you how much line you have out and what direction it is going. It can be programmed to predetermined anchor lengths for repeated operations. The LCD-display also gives an indication if the battery is low or the Windlass is overloaded.
