8. A Norwegian family! 1887-

In addition to Swedish and American Windahl-families, there is a Norwegian one in the U.S., being descended from Ole Andersson Vindedal, born in 1862.

His father came from Vindedal, Lerdal in Norway why he had chosen that surname.

Sometime before 1887 Ole changed his surname to Windahl.
