Some information about me Personal stuff Born April 5 1958 in Stockholm(Sweden) My last name was Johanson until I got married June 9th, 1996. My last name now is Ekberg and I live in Blackeberg (a suburb in the northwestern parts of Stockholm) with my wife Katarina. She is working as a computer programmer/system analyser for Info-Data, a consulting company in Stockholm. I have a son named Carl, born august 8, 1998. First name is Mats-Ola, mostly called Ola, but I'm a.k.a. Mazola (basically due to some American friends inability ... or was it unwillingness ... to pronounce it correctly). Mazola was as close as they got ... and I got used to it so now I use it on many different occasions. Some other stuff that might be interesting : Length 187 cm ... about 6'2" Weight 85-90 kg ... about 185-195 pounds Colour blind (I don't see in black and white but most colours look the same) Drinks alcoholic beverages, yes ... I have mainly been working with COBOL on the main frame computer since 1985. During 1994-1997 I "switched sides" and worked primarily with learning about PC-programming (OOP with Rational Rose and C++). Since spring 1997 I'm back working with the main frame computer, but I hope I can get back to the PC-world in the future. I play basketball with a club called Harlem Grasshoppers in a local division 2 league on my spare time. Right now I participate by being on the injured list. I previously played for Blackeberg Basket (1978-1990) in the national leagues. Paints T-shirts when I feel like doing it ... mostly with Calvin & Hobbes as end product. Has CMAS diving certificate and is a member of the divers club Yoldia DK, Bromma. I am a member of Akkurat's whisky club. Please read (only in Swedish) about the club's whisky trips to Skottland. About this site I made this page just because I had a chance ... and it was "free". The Internet supplier (Tele2) I'm connected to is offering their subscribers to create their own home pages for "free" ... subscription is NOT free but who cares. This is my first attempt to create a site, so if you have any comments and/or suggestions feel free to send me an E-mail. This is the fourth release of this site. The first was just an experiment, but the second was made with frames and I thought it had potential. The third and this release is a step back in technique, but has been made because some friends of mine (Mats Bergsten and Greg Giddings) has not bothered to get a browser that can handle frames. I'm counting on that they get some free modern browser (use the Browser links in the blue column, guys) so I can change back to the frame-release ... soon ? What did I need to make this site ?
