Ivan Hajnis & The Primitives Group

Singer, brilliant harmonica player, and frontman of one of the best, most successful Czech rock bands setting out in the sixties, e. g. The Primitives Group performing at The Czech Beat Festival.

However, following the invasion of the Red Army in 1968, Ivan decided to leave Czechoslovakia for an exile in Sweden.

Hajnis still lives in Malmö, Sweden. There he spends his time writing and recording his own rhytm-and-blues tunes, which he performes solo or with band along with his cover versions of rock-'n'-roll and blues classics by The Doors, Eric Clapton and others.

Other than Sweden, Ivan has been performing throughout Denmark, Germany and the Czech Republic since 1990, currently accompanied by Doctor Tom's Blues Cabin.
