The first and only MP3 player for AutoPC
MusicPlayer 1.0 FAQ
Q: Sometimes can I hear audio stutter when I play MP3 files, what shall I do?
A: You can try this to gain performance on the MusicPlayer
1. Change the output quality from Stereo to Mono. This is done in the MusicPlayer Menu.
2. Try to make warmboot of your AutoPC by pressing "Enter-Power-#" simultaneous for 2 seconds. Do NOT press "Enter-Power-*" which will coldboot the AutoPC and delete all your settings and erase all installed programs.
Q: My MP3CDs will not work on the AutoPC, what is wrong?
A: To burn a CD for the AutoPC, follow these guidelines
1. Do NOT use a re-writable CD. It must be a regular recordable CDROM to work on the AutoPC.
2. Burn the CD-ROM using MODE1:CD-ROM. Do NOT use MODE2:CD-ROM XA which is the default in most CD writing programs (including Adaptec). Please see your CD burning software documentation for more help on this.
3. Close the CD. It CANNOT be multisession. If you burned it using MODE1 you shouldn't be able to add additional sessions, which means you did everything correctly.
Q: How shall I create the MP3 files for best result?
A: I have only tested this with Easy CD-DA Extractor 3 and it seams to work fine
My encoder settings are MPEG-1 Layer-3 (Intel Pentium III optimized) Encoder, 128kBit/s Stereo.
Q: What limitations have the MusicPlayer?
A: Limitations I think you should be aware of before you run the MusicPlayer are
1. It is not possible to use voice commands while you are playing MP3s.
2. You should not run navigation at the same time as MusicPlayer.
3. The graphical volume bars will not appear in this application, but the volume change will still work
4. Mute button is not implemented.
5. If you press a button while the MusicPlayer is playing will the music be paused.
6. Advance and rewind is not implemented in this version (I'm working on this for the next release).
7. The volume level is lower then for the Radio and CD (This will be fixed in next release).
