A 12 minutes animated children film about a boy
that spends the day at the seaside with his uncle.
During the adventurous games he learns the power of nature.

  The Jurys statement given by Trond Viggo Torgersen

  "The jury was unanimous in its choice of the Grand Prize winner.

  They feel that this is a film that touches the heart in a sad and funny way.

  It works on an emotional level that no other film in the festival does.

  The voice-over was very authentic, honest and spontaneous. The jury felt drawn in by the film.

  They felt it is rare, and positive, that an animation film stirs the emotions so much.

   

  They liked the use of different techniques. They felt that the directors found techniques that enabled them to communicate their story well, and also throgh excellent use of technique to reach a human dimension in the film.

  The Grand Prize for the 4th Oslo Animation Festival goes to
  Lotta & Uzi Geffenblad for the film Aprikoser."
