    Info:
DNS Blaster™ is a program that converts ip-name to ip-number and ip-number to ip-name. This basic feature in DNS Blaster™ is the same as in the program nslookup, which only I have heard rumors about. The lack of any usable tool that does this for Windows made me (and my friend Karl) made this program.
Differences between the 16-bit DNS Blaster™ and the 32-bit version:
    1. The 32-bit version will not run under Windows 3.1x without Win32s installed.
    2. The 16-bit version will not start the dial-up dialog in different versions of Windows 95/OSR2, if you're not connected when you start the application. LAN connections are not affected by this.
    3. The 16-bit version will usually show wrong ip-name for "This Computer" when it's running in a Windows 95/OSR2 (NT also?) session which is connected with dial-up. It depends on the underlying dial-up software, which doesn't send the request further to the DNS. The software will try to translate the 16-bit calls itself, which usually result in an incorrect ip-name.
    4. There's maybe more 2 come...
DNS stands for Domain Name Server and LAN stands for Local Area Network.

SockInfo shows a messagebox with information about the underlying Winsock API. If there appear any errors you will be informed about them.

    FAQ:
    Q: Why haven't you used Borland C/C++ 5.02 and Visual C++ 5.0 ?
A: We have developed the most sourcecode in 32-bit versions of VC, but the final compile we usually make in a older version of one of their compilers 'cuz the newer ones don't compile the most efficient (smallest in our case) code.
Q: Why haven't you used Borland Delphi or Microsoft Visual Basic?
A: Please tell me your address and I will tell you why...
Q: What are your upcoming plans?
A: 1. Assembly optimized version of SockInfo, is currently developed. 2. (Don't hesitate to) Check this site for the upcoming FTP Blaster™. 3. A future project known as DNS Blaster™ 2.0 is currently previewed.
Q: Can I have your source code?
A: Maybe, we haven't decided if we shall make the source code public yet.
Q: How big is your source code?
    A: DNS Blaster 16/32 v1.08: It's huge. 23 kb, that makes nearly 800 lines. SockInfo 16/32 v1.03: 3 kb/over 100 lines.
Q: Can I have a link from my own webpage to yours?
A: Yes, but only if you use the animated logo as a link.
Q: Can I have the address to your fanclub?
    A: No, it's full.
