Akira is without a doubt my favorite anime. This ten year old film, is the classic of all classics. Thanks to Akira, manga and anime has crossed the japanese border and spread around the world.
It is just as good as the reputation says. The animation is superb and to this day not beaten. The music is amazing. The plot is complex and you really have to be awake to understand whats going on and what will happen.
Those of you who are interested in anime and yet havenīt seen Akira, do it now! Because this is anime at the best. a masterpiece.
