White-water canoeing

Along the Vindelriver you can go white-water canoeing. If you want you can  can join a ground course were you get to learn the basics. The teaching starts with a rubberboat. You start with the grounds on calm water, and then you take the step up to a smaller river. After that you can finally go out on the Vindelriver. There are room for up to eight persons in one boat. It is a fantastic experience that you just have to try out.

Dog team rides

Near Vindeln, in the village Häggnäs, you can ride behind a dogteam. The dog-owners have many years of experience  and the dogs are very friendly and kind. All kinds of guestes are welcome, young and old. You can also ride horse- sledge for about an hour. You choose between five different tours. In some of them you get coffee and a sandwich. It is a wonderful adventure for the whole family to join.
