Hunting Percival Pembroke

"Sir Percy" has been flying as a V.I.P. airplane in Royal Air force, England for many years. This aircraft
has also been stationed in Berlin, Germany, and used a lot as patrolling the "Iron Curtain". The
Pembroke was phased out, by RAF and bought by Flygexpo in 1988.
Swedish Air Force had 18 Pembrok's, together with DC3, as their transport capacity until 1976, when
all Swedish Pembroke's were scrapped, due problems with cracks in the wing root. Replacement were C130 Hercules, a bigger, faster and better aircraft in all respects.
Last year, there are only 2 airworthy Pembroke's in the whole world, both with modified wing roots.
Nr 2 a/c is based on Jersey, owned and piloted by Capt. Martin Willing, flying 747 Cathay Pacific.
