P1 Sparmann , Sparmannjagaren
This singelseat aircraft has been under construction, according the original drawings, for the last
5-6 years. Progress is slow, but steady going forward. The construction of the wooden wing is
almost completed, just the fabric is missing. An excellent, high class job, has been performed by
Jerry Frisk.
The fuselage is put together, welded in Hangar 81 by our members. Sorry to say, a rather
complicated construction, so it is rather time consuming.
The engine is a Gypsy Major, same as the Tiger Moth. Len Hill and Mats Root are doing the
overhaul and adjustment to high octane fuel.(100LL)
The airplane will not be airworthy for another couple of years, but the progress is steadily going
on, towards a complete aircraft, the only flyable in the world.
