BAND HISTORY We began playing together in November 1993. The band was called "Somersault" then. Klara and Martin sang and played guitar, Lisa played bass and Klara´s brother Jakob played drums. Our favourite bands and influences back then were Ride, Lush and Slowdive. We did some gigs and recordings during 1994, our songs "Autumn Swirl", "June" and "Mother Of Pearl" are from those days. |

In 1995, we began using synthesizers and drum machines, but our music was still very guitar-based. We did some gigs and recordings during 1995 too, our songs "Gem", "Lustre" and "Spacious" are from this year. In 1996, we took our new name, "Aquadays". We also bought the Farfisa organ, which changed our sound radically. |

We worked with singer Sarah Assbring during 1996-1997. Together with her, we wrote our songs "Senseless", "Daydreamer" and "Casablanca". Sarah sings these three songs on our album. |

Nowadays, we have lots of influences. Our favourite bands are New Order, Electronic, Pet Shop Boys, Kraftwerk, The Charlatans, Brittle Stars, Elegant, Spacemen 3, Spiritualized, Stereolab, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Belle & Sebastian, Saint Etienne and many more. "Sunshine Girl" is our newest song. |
