I am currently a consultant working with Volvo IT with a contracted job via Manpower.
I work in a team of five consultants upgrading portable computers and implementing
them in a very large WAN, an approximately 35,000 client network.
After upgrading and controlling the functionality of the machine, the users are given a
personal introduction. This might include everything from the basic use of Win95 up
to deep knowledge about the network component.

Prior to my association with Manpower I worked with Scandic Products in Göteborg,
Sweden, where I started as a service technician and salesperson for three years.
Scandic Products is one of the largest domestic manufacturers of personal computers.

I advanced to the position of Service Manager covering western Sweden.
This position involved repair decisions, onsite technical support and telephone support
for software/hardware problems, networks and dial-up technical support, as well as
marketing computers. Other responsibilities consisted of the local LAN and direct
customer relations.

During the time I worked with Scandic Products I took the initiative and began obtaining
my MCSE certification focusing on networking solutions, Windows NT Server and SQL
databases. As of today I have successfully completed three of the six required exams.

On a personal level I see myself as a positive person full of ideas and energy.
I consider myself a competent individual who successfully masters anything I put my mind to.
I feel this makes it easy for me to adjust to the needs of the team. I find my calm demeanor
as well as my desire to see others smile makes me the ideal candidate for the social
interactions required for technical support of all types of users.
