Late 40s (?) Levin Mandolin

o Two piece, flat, spruce top. Two piece, flat, birch back and birch sides. White plastic binding around top and back. 8 2/3" wide, 13 1/4" long, 2 3/8" deep.

o One piece birch neck, joins body at 10th fret. Pearwood fretboard with T-shaped brass fretwire and pearl dot inlays. 13 7/8" scale. 1 1/5", white plastic, nut.

o Reddish brown finish with sunburst shading on top. Black peghead with script "Levin" silkscreened in gold.
