Suzanne Vega have been around a while. Her first album was released back in 1985. It was simply called Suzanne Vega. On this album there are song like Marlene on the wall and Small blue thing. Between the first and second album she released the song Left on center. The song was on the soundtrack to the movie Pretty in pink. This was the song that me interested in Suzanne Vega music. Her major breakthrough came with the song Luka from the 2nd album Solitude standing. The album made the number one spot here and there (Sweden among other). On this album you will find songs like Toms diner later to be hit with DNA. The album is good album with good songs on it. The next album is a turning point towards the music that Suzanne Vega is doing now. The third album Days of open hand wasn't as successful as the previous, but in reflection it was the start to the next two albums (they are masterpieces). On this album there are some great songs like Tired of sleeping , Fifty-fifty chance and many more songs. The next two albums 99.9 Fº and Nine objects of desire have the same producer Mitchell Froom (her husband). They together have created a sound that is great. The sound exist on Los lobos Kiko. The album was also produced by Mitchell Froom. On 99.9 Fº you find David Hidalgo from Los lobos (if you're interested why don't you check out Los lobos album it's their best so far).99.9 Fº starts of with the song Rock in this pocketand there are 12 other great songs on the CD. Suzanne next albumNine objects of desire was released in 1996 and is as good as 99.9 Fº .Suzanne Vega have been one of my favorite artist since here first album Suzanne Vega and she still is. The best about Suzanne Vega is that she keept on developing.
