The idea to make this site was born on bench while eating ice cream on a sunny summer day in June 1997. I was talking to a friend (Pierre) who was talking about that making an own site. This was on a Thursday and thought why not make me a site to. So I started to look around the Internet after some information to help me. On the Sunday I had the first version of my site on the Internet (29th of June). My site has developed since and at the same time have learned both how to create a site and how promote it.

The using HTML tools like Homesite (v1.2, v2.5 and v3.0) have helped me to created my site. Through out the development of my site I have tried make the design simple so that everybody can see it. I have tested the site using Internet explorer (v 4.x) and Netscape Communicator (4.0x and 4.5). I have used Painshop pro (v3.x and v5.x) and Lviewpro to create graphic stuff on my site. I have tested other programs like Photoshop (graphics), Dreamweaver (To create a site), Microsoft's FrontPage (To create a site), and Netscape's Composer (To create a site). I have used both Word (v7.0 and 97) and Excel (v7.0 and 97) to make my site. I use Excel to make my album chart and Word to write text to my site. To upload my site I use the FTP program WS_FTP95 LE (v4.01).

Here below you can see a brief summary how my site has development over the years, from the first version of my site to the latest version of my site.

The first version of my site were created on 29/6 1997 and was only a very simple one page site with a short presentation of me and some links to different artists. Next version (let's call it V.1.1)came already the next day. This version there was now six pages. The six pages were the index page (this page), personal (about me), Topp100 (Fredrik's album chart), pleasure (links), music (links to artists and information) and music2 (information about Swedish music).

The second version of my site came around 10-20/7 1997. This version included new pages like Div2_97 (about Lunds BK), artists (original this page included the links to the different artists), site (with links to sites of friends) and charts (links to charts around the world) plus a page for the different artist.

The structure of the two first versions is today the same still with some minor changes. After version 2 there have been two major changes on the design of the different pages.

Here was still the background colour white and text colour black.

This version I had changed background colour too black. The design is the current design of the site.

I have started to change design a bit on my pages right now. You might have notice it on my index page or on the Lunds BK page. I will slowly implement this design on the rest of my site. I hope that the new design is better than the previous design that my site had.

The latest version of my site has a design that is the same as in version 5, but I have taken it a step further. I have change the gray button to a black button. I have also changed the sites structured so every different link subject has their page. This I wanted to make it easier to navigate through my site. To help the visitor I have created a new page from you can find every page with links on my site. As all the different subjects (music and links) have page like this. One thing that has been deleted from my site is the Lunds BK section. This because I have not the time to keep it updated.

At the moment I am slowly working through my site and updating and reworking the text on every page. I have changed every pictures format on my site from *.GIF to *.JPEG. This because JPEG pictures take up less space and are quicker to download when you out surfing the net. I am also working to make it easier to navigate through my site. I have plans to make a page on my site about female artists that have inspired me and new ones that you might also like. This page will come shortly (I hope). I have tested on my album chart page to use a background instead of my normally black background colour (it's a bit of sky from a picture from Åland, Finland).

My site has its latest addition now. It is a part of my site that is about female artist. In the future it will be moved to another place (new URL) so it can grow. My site can not grow that much at the present place.
