| I am a teacher of music and English at junior and senior high level. Recently I've started teaching more French and less music. I work at Strandskolan (ages 13-16) and Överkalix gymnasieskola (ages 16+) | ||

| I am elected representative in the National Union of Teachers Lärarnas Riksförbund. | ||
Computer in school | ||
| I spend quite some time on the computer. Say the word "Internet" and my eyes start sparkling. Last year I attended a course at the University of Luleå called The computer at school. I have introduced some of my pupils to the Internet in a project named Salut le Monde. (Sorry, this one and the project links that follow are in Swedish only.) | ||
| It involves searching for information about French speaking areas, famous French people, artists, phenomena as well as an evaluation process and linguistical work. I believe in the use of authentic material in the classroom as an important complement to standard text- and workbooks, even for pupils with only two or three years of French. | ||
| When I go back to work again I intend to start a project in music as well. The schools in Överkalix participate in a national computer project sponsored by KK-stiftelsen. | ||
Multimedia | ||
| Last spring I attended a multimedia course at the University of Uppsala. We studied web and multimedia design; the creation process, interface design, graphics, authoring tools etc. As part of the course, I've created a web-page (in Swedish) about multimedia authoring tools. | ||
| If you're interested in a multimedia product that I developed you can take a look at Bon appetit which is an introduction to the French language. Since I couldn't afford buying the Windows version of Authorware you need a Macintosh to check it out. | ||
