Koncept: Mascetheater with mascworkshop and sambabatucada group, with open workshops for all ages.
Facts: A yearly childrens carneval "Jordens Karneval" take place in Rinkeby in the earlig summer, when several samba and candombe groups with chlidren and grown ups walks and dance there way through Rinkeby. Everybody, even the children has been creaitung maskes and drums in several workshops, and learnd how to play the drums in open workshops, for months before the karneval.

"SPAMMASS"

Koncept: Text and sound composition.
"SPAMMASS", is a text built on mailsubjects on spammails that came in during one week in (1-7 mars) 2004. The piece was a free improvisation from the spamtext. Spamsubjects is the internets own randompoetry that are created daily in infinite amounts, and the spammass is a little outcut from this.Facts: SPAMMASS was performed at 240 kubik i Gothenburg, by the freeimprovisationsgroup Fågelpingis (Johannes bergmark, Thomas Halling, Jakob Ullberger) , the performanceartist Hugh Meatcalf and Katrin v.Rettig, with the help of voices, percussion?, computers, things, brassinstrument, more things, hoots, mm.
All documentation was unfortunately stolen.
"Same day execution"

Koncept: Live performance.
"Same day execution" is a performance, based on the idea that one has to decide the content the same day as it is performed. ("same day execution", is also a banking term in the e-bank, that means transfering money the same day as you give the order.)explores both the technical, physical and emotional possibilities to obey to impulses, and to not to be able to control the outcomeFacts : The first "Same d.e." was performed at Kulturhuset,Stockholm, june 2003, in a Fylkingenevent, with 12 people invited from the audiens, up on stage to experience the pleasure of ripping as much newspaper as possible during 5 minutes in front of three strongly amplified microphones . "Same d.e." was performed several times throghout 2003 (november at Fylkingen) .

"INFORMANCE"

Koncept: Videoperformance in realtime.
"The performance is built on the idea that two persons with one camera each, in one identical room each outside the stage, and that a third person on stage is instructing via microphone the two persons, in the rooms, how to act.
The tasks are hidden from the two acters but known by the third, "the informant". The two acters in the rooms are projected ( videoprojector) up on two walls on the stage where "the informant" and the audiens are. The two acters does not see each other or the audiens, they can only hear "the informants" instructions.
The contents of the instructions has been worked out around the conditions of the sealed room and the way the acters aknowledges their environment and each other. The tasks are decided by the acters themselves from their own artistical ways of expression, dans on one side and performance on the other.
Katrin v.Rettig made the koncept and the form and have within this in cooperation with Susanne Berggren and Dinka Pignon continually developed the roles of the acters in the performance."Facts: INFORMANCE was performed at Fylkingen in Stockholm, by Katrin v.Rettig, Dinka Pignon and Susanne Berggren.
"Läget är utomordentligt"

The point with the action is to place the quotation "Läget är utomordentligt" (The place (or status of the moment) is extraordinary (good)) by Mao-Tse tung in different places in varying environments. The qoutation becomes a statement about the chaos in the order, calming and frightening in a deceptive way.Fakta: "Läget är utomordentligt" was performed at Fylkingen in Stockholm, by Katrin v.Rettig, in the performancefestival EVENT, and Färgfabriken in Sthlm, during LoveAll 1996.
"OPISO" a performance about the seen and unseen.............

Koncept:Videoperformance.
According to the greek word OPISO is that what you see and have in front of you and therefore know what it looks like, your past. Your past you have seen.
This that you do not see, that you have behind you, is your future. Your future you have not seen and it is unknown.The stageroom of Fylkingen were with large, black velvet draperies rebuilt into a labyrint, where in different places acters were located. Videocameras were recording the two acters reading without voice yesterdays TVtableaus, to the sound of a cut out timeduration, 1 hour, from the radioether, recorded (from exactly the same time as the TVtableaus), and arranged the evening before the performance. The acters faces were projected on plastic draperies and monitors located in other places in the labyrint. Also the audiens was videorecorded in the entry of the labyrint and showed on monitors in the end, so the audiens became part of the performance.
During the performance there were 6 improvising musicians playing in different places in the labyrint.Facts: OPISO was performed at Fylkingen in Stockholm, by Tore Nilsson and Katrin v.Rettig, and the C improvisattions (Amit Sen, Christer Both&ecute;n, Anders Nilsson, Thomas Näslund, Johnny axelsson, m fl).
The video and the soundcomposition was also shown during "The inauguration of the KREV consulate in NYC", Nordanstad Gallery in New York City, USA 1996.

Facts: "In the Wabe II" (the hart), videoinstallation that was a part of the exhibition "Oriente Lux" by Tom Sandqvist, Galleri Enkehuset, Sthlm, and with the video "In the Wabe I (the sea) , also exhibited at Tallinns Konsthall, Tallinn, Estland and Galleri pieni Agora, Helsingfors, Finland.
"In the Wabe I" (the sea), videoinstallation showed at Fylkingen och Moderna Museet 1992 and -93.
Stader
Year: 1989 and 1992
Koncept: "Stader" (an old swedish word for fireplace). The installation consists of 21 "fireplaces" in shape of screwd together ironplates with one lightbulb placed in each.
The installation also contained six 3 meter high "gates" from welded irongirder with lighting at the top of each gate.
Facts: "Stader" was shown in Wienna, Austria, Belgrad in former Jugoslavia and Sveagalleriet, Stockholm
