The development of the new PREDATOR MX "Intelligent Professional Scanner" has been a long and careful process to ensure that every feature, essential to a product of this stature, is not only available but also totally reliable.
At the same time we took great care to avoid unnecessary frills and gadgets that are rarely used but would increase the costs dramatically. The result has been undeniably the most attractive and professional product that NJD has ever produced. The PREDATOR's lightweight extruded aluminium housing is literally bursting with facilities including micro-stepping motors, for smooth movement and long life, pure dichroic colours (selectable as 8 solid colours or 7 split colours or colour scrolling), 7 separately selectable gobo's, external focusing, internal Power Factor Correction, DMX512 or 0-10V control, "Stand alone" facility and Strobe effect in any colour. The, long life and high output, CSS575 Metal Halide lamp, used in conjunction with a new "optical system", produces a beam intensity significantly brighter than comparable product and we are confident that no other product on the market today can offer this combination of facilities and build quality at such a competitive price. The PREDATOR MX can be controlled via the superb Merlin lighting desk or any industry standard DMX512 or 0-10V controller.
