CYBER SLAMMING part 1 (20/9):

Hello there! My topic today is four different things. I´m gonna write my thoughts on: Nitro, ECW, WWF:s "shoot" inteviews and Sabu. Let´s start with the most suicidal federation of all time: ECW! When I first watched a ECW television, I was impressed. And every time someone swinged a chair, I was impressed. But the time has changed and myself and many others are now familiar with the ECW style of wrestling. And Barely Legal and Hardcore Heaven wasn´t so "extreme" that I was familiar with. So my thought is this: cut down on the violence just before a PPV and then explode at the PPV instead of doing it before and after. As you can see many wrestlers leaving ECW right now and thats not just because Tod Gordon tried to hook them up with WCW. That´s because they are doing the ***** matches before and after the PPV but on the actual PPV they have to slow down the brawling. Therefore many wrestlers have been tired of never show they´re best sides in front of a national wide television. Instead they are doing it in front of an noisy Philadelphia public. And Heyman is loosing stars: Raven, Richards, Meanie, Saturn and Spicolli is just the beginning of it. So now it´s time for Paul.E and ECW to stop riding at the sucess from Barley Legal and really show us if ECW can produce any more good PPV:s...
Next up Sabu! Two years ago in 1995 Sabu was the most homicidal, suicidal wrestler ever in the sport. And Paul.E still call him that, but is he? Many wrestlers like Rey Mysterio Jr., Psicosis, Juventud Guerrera, Ultimo Dragon, Great Sasuke and Flash Funk is now as good "high-flyers" as Sabu. And Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, Chris Benoit, Mankind and Rob Van Dam is as good "crazy brawlers" as Sabu. And not even the "table bumb" can Sabu call a signature move anymore, TPE do it every week on Nitro. But still Sabu is something special. Last year he carried: Rob Van Dam, Too Cold Scorpio and Mikey Whipwreck to five star matches. Sabu is a hardcore legend already...
And now we come in to Nitro. What a boring show!!! Not all the matches, the cruiserweights are superb but the main events and the endings are awful! The same ending for the last six months. And the people watch Nitro insted of RAW IS WAR, give me a break, Raw bites Nitro every day they want! And now with the NWO skit about the 4 Horsemen and at Fall Brawl: Hennig goes NWO. WCW sucks big time...
The last topic today is the "shoot" interviews with Mankind and Goldust that has been shown on RAW IS WAR. I don´t like Eric Bischoff but he said one smart thing: "If you start treating wrestlers like normal people, thats how the crowd will look at them!". And I think Bischoff is right on that one. I more liked the time when WWF never even mentioned WCW and vice verca...
