Some personal info

(for those who haven't heard from me for ages)

In the last 15 years, I have, among other things,

Moved from Eskilstuna to Uppsala
Disconnected myself from the Swedish Social Democratic movement (by exit to the left)
Been somewhat active in SF-Fandom
~~Wasted~~ Spent some time in the military service
Travelled a bit, mostly in Europe and the Middle East
Done scientific research in Uppsala, Sweden; in Tartu, Estonia; and in Strasbourg, France
Got a PhD in biochemistry
Got married to Pille Rihvk
Got myself an apartment and a job in Miami, Florida
Realised that those, who call the Swedish system bureaucratic and overregulated, obviously haven't been to the USA lately
Constructed a personal homepage, to help my friends in far away countries find me after I changed both my physical and electronic addresses
Done pharmacological research at the University of Miami School of Medicine
Declared my resignation from the above mentioned institute
Moved back into my old living quarters in Uppsala
Got myself a (temporary) job as researcher in physiology

If we know each other, be it from school, politics, research institutes, the military, the local pub or whatever, do not hesitate to send me an E-mail. Use the mailbox on the first page. Or leave a message in the guestbook. After all, that was the original purpose of this home page - to help old acquaintancies get in touch with me. Messages in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, English, German, Estonian and Finnish will be understood, although I might not answer in the same language.
