Welcome to my little spot here on the web. My name is Martin Bergstrand. I'm 20 and I live in the best country in the world - Sweden. This site is a brief presentation of me and also contains a few links to other nice sites on the internet. In the near future (hopefully within the next century or so) I also hope to put in a link to my photosite, which only exists in my mind at the moment.

hotography is, as you might have guessed from reading the text above, one of my main interests. This interest started a long time ago, when I got my first pocket-camera, which I used a lot - at my mothers great unhappiness since she was the one who had to pay the development of all the rolls of film that I exposed. Ten years and a few pocket-cameras later my "real" interest started when I bought my first SLR (Single Lens Reflex) camera in 1996. Today I am on my second SLR and I have also built myself a small darkroom. And, believe it or not, the pictures I take sometimes end up quite good. More about this on my photosite, whenever it will start existing.

n other interest of mine is motorcycles, or perhaps I should say motorcycling - since my interest lies in riding a motorcycle, not so much in the motorcycle itself. I got my license in 1997 and in the same year I bought my first bike - a Yamaha XT 600 from 1987. A big offroad that could take me anywhere, on any road, I thought when I bought it. It sure could, and it was very fun riding it on dirt roads or extremely bad roads full of rocks and stuff, but when you got up on the highway and the speed got a little higher you often wished to be somewhere else - it wasn't all too comfortable. An other nice little detail on the XT was that it had no electric starter - only a kickstart. "Who needs an electric starter" I thought, until the engine decided to stop typically at a red light in the middle of a crossing in rush hour, or in similar situations. I cursed the kickstarter several times during my acquaintance with the XT, but despite these small problems it was a great bike and I had lots of fun with it. Right now I dream of a Honda CBR 600, model 1991 or newer, that I am planning (perhaps dreaming is a better word) to be able to afford sometime in the (near?) future.

Hmmm... I guess that's all for now... I never seem to get anything done with this site. It's been looking like this for quite a while now. We'll see if I manage to make something out of it soon. Right now I'm a litte bit sceptical.
