Fans of Prisoner: Cell Block H are an enthusiastic bunch. Replace the jailbird soap with snooker or a TV movie, and they are up in arms. Replace it with Flair, a soapy mini-drama also set in Australia - as ITV did for two days last week - and the aficionados aren't to be fooled. ITV stations received large numbers of complaints. Thames alone received 20 on one day, though this is peanuts compared to the 400-odd who complained on a day when Gulf War news was the offender.
