The beautiful theme song from Prisoner - 'On The Inside' - is written by Allan Caswell and sung by Lynne Hamilton. It made it to number three in the UK Top 40 in the beginning of June 1989. In all, four different versions of "On The Inside" was used in the Prisoner end credits over the years. Two instrumental versions and two with lyrics.
'Pixie's Song' is played on the end credits for one episode only. It is written by Allan Caswell and is sung by Colleen Hewett (who played Sheila Brady). In the series Judy Bryant writes this song, dedicated to Pixie Mason.
