The history:
In 1994 the band Machine Art was created by
Eric Ljungberg, Jakob Idunger and Fredrik Larsson. We wrote our fisrt tune called stopped
dreaming whith a Kawai K4, a Korg Wawestation and a 486sx25 whith a turtle beach tropez sound
card. In that time we were influenced by mobile homes and de/vision and the sound was very sad.
1995: Tommy and a singer called Emma became members. Eric wasn't very happy about the sound
so he almost quit the band.
In 1996 Emma quite the band and Jakob took over the singer position. We partisipated in a
music contest but weren't very succesfull. Machine Art was renamed to m.ART. Eric bought his
fisrt analog synthesizer the fabolous MiniKorg.
1997: The sound was changed drasticly to a more analog style. We were not longer that sad
and our influences were changed to bands like Rational youth and early Human league.
