DMX (Earl Simmons) was born on the 18th of December 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland, but moved to Yonkers, NY, later on. Many don't know that DMX has actually released a single in 1992 called "Born Loser" on Columbia Records but it didn't make much noise. He started making guest apperarances with LL Cool J, The Lox, Mase, Mic Geronimo and John Forte, and everybody wondered who this new rapper was. Now he had a ground to base his carrier on, and soon after he released his second album "It's Dark And Hell Is Hot" on Ruff Ryders/Def Jam which has went on to sell over 3 million copies worldwide. His third album which is his latest release is called "Flesh Of My Flesh Blood Of My Blood". DMX stands for Dark Man X and also Divine Master of the Unknown, where the X represents the unknown.
