U-God is one of the members of the Wu-tang Clan. He hasn't appeared on many tracks, on the first Wu album "Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" he was on two songs, "Da Mystery of Chessboxin" and "Protect Ya Neck." The reason he didn't appear on more was that he was serving time in jail for theft. On "Wu-Tang Forever" , the Clan's second album, he was on for example "It's Yourz", where he starts his verse with 'super-freak physique/like Raphael Saadiq', typical for his style of nonsense rhyming, that makes sense to no one but him, but it does sound cool. He has a girlfriend and a son called Dante. He calls him his 'his pride and joy, and his only reason for rapping anymore.' His son was hit by a bullet fragment and survived. He is currently working on his solo debut, "Warriors".
