Backcross
The backcross is something every juggler must learn. The trick can be done with just one throw or with all throws. If you don't know what a backcross is then it's time you learn. A backcross is when you throw a ball behind your back and catch it in front. A frontcross is the opposite, a throw made from front to back. Start by throwing one ball behind your back. The ball should raise over the shoulder and be easy to catch. Do this with BOTH hands twice as many times as it takes to get it solid. It's important that you look away from the ball your throwing (if your making a throw with your right hand you're supposed to look to the right until the ball is thrown). Now start a cascade or any other trick you like. When you feel confident, make a backcross. Remeber to keep your eyes on the ball aproaching the hand which is making the backcross. This is the reason you looked away from the ball erlier. When you can do the backcross with both hands you can try doing it on all throws.
