Learning new Tricks

The first time you see a trick you haven't got the clue of whats going on. Then you watch one ball at the time and suddenly it's all clear. The procedure is the same when you learn a new trick. Start with one ball. When you can do the trick with that ball you try it with three or even five balls. Tricks like the backcross and the frontcross are often easier if you start practicing with one ball. If it's a trick built up from other small tricks you break it down and learn the parts one by one. Rubensteins Revenge would be impossible to learn otherwise.
