| Following years as an
underground headliner, Wagie introduced us to the Growin Pains experience
with his debut 12" "Stockholm Staal" (on now defunct indie label Homebrew)
in 1997, creating a milestone in Sweden’s hiphop history, not only for
it’s fresh sounds, but also for it’s importance as ground-breaking for
the country’s independent scene. Wagie’s sophomore 12" EP "Still
Same Game" (1998), which also added outstanding production to his personal
record as an artist, and frequent performances at parties and hiphop jams
nationwide, have established Growin Pains as one of Sweden’s premier hiphop
acts. With "Throwin Molotovs" and ”Cheap Talk” (introducing new-comer Prosent)
Wagie delivers two new gems for the hardcore listeners |
