the leading act of Sweden’s independent hiphop movement, this Västerås
crew, cMade by Promoe, Supreme and Cosmic and producer/DJ Embee, have had
an enormous impact on the country’s hiphop scene during the last couple
of years. Not only have the crew earned a reputation from their self-distributed
12"’s on their own Wax Cabinet label and ripping live shows nationwide,
Loop Troop have also made themselves renowned outside the borders of their
native Sweden. Most notable is Promoe’s guest appearance on Danish Boulevard
Connection’s acclaimed EP, released on Bobbito Garcias Fondle Em label
early 1998. Boulevard Connection’s Sek & Typhoon produced Promoe’s
solo joint "Poor Lonesome Homeboy", while DJ Embee did business as usual
on the Troop’s "Heads Or Tails" |
