I worked with market development in the Nordic Library market at a subsidiary to Bibliotekstjänst AB. Starting out as a project coordinator, the position evolved into a product manager role.

My task was to pick up a concept from R&D in the area of library automation (robots and machines for lending or returning books) and turn the concept in to profitable product and service lines for the Nordic sales organizations.

The result was:

-    Development of support functions for installations and on-site support as well as incorporating the support with the overall help-desk structure.

-    Reduction of supplier base to one main supplier in order to assure and maintain a high level of quality

Successful introduction on the Nordic market thanks to close cooperation with the Nordic sales organizations.
