Rare Explorer !
An interesting and rare version from 1953.
Reference number 6150 serialnumber 944xxx.
Dated on the inside of the caseback to
last quarter of 1953.
The name Explorer is printed above the 6 a clock postion,
a rare confirguration on such an early black dialed Explorer.

Included is the book "The Conquest of the Everest"
by Sir John Hunt (1954).
One chapter is written by Sir Edmund Hillary, the final assult.

Also included is an original copy of "National Geografic" from July 1954 and has ca 60 pages article about the
"Triumph on Everest".
Included are a mapdiagram and 60 illustrations, 45 in "Natural Colors". IMHO a set very interesting for the demanding collector.
