Scuba diving at CozumelMe and my diving partner Martin visited Cozumel during February 2001, we flew to CanCun and first we stayed in Playa del Carmen. From there we booked a week at Cozumel with Blue Divers. The diving at Playa del Carmen is ok, but the underwater landscape and the formations is much greater at Cozumel than at Playa del Carmen. The visibillity is also much better at Cozumel. There is a lot of Scuba diving shops both in Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. You should walk around and check the prices. For 2 dives per day the prices vary from 450 to 600 Pesos, depending of how many days you book.
