Miami Beach 1998

We went to Miami South Beach during New Year 1997/1998, we stayed at Breakwater hotel at 940 Ocean Drive. This is in the Art Deco district in the front of the beach in Miami South Beach. We arrived late at Saturday night, so we directly went to Twist bar at 1057 Washington Avenue, there they told us that we should go to Salvation at 720 Lincon Road. When we came in at Salvation it was like going to queer heaven. Hundreds of naked beautiful men, dancing on the dance floor. Here we met our Swedish friend Stefan who lives in Fort Lauderdale. We danced us sweaty all night till the morning. At Sunday we went to the Teadance at Amnesia at 136 Collins Avenue. It is an outdoor disco, very beautiful place but they had a bad dragshow. Later the same night we went on to another Teadance at Liquid at 1439 Washington Avenue. Here it was more good-looking men than at Liquid. We felt a lot of muscular bodies at the dance floor that night.

If you want to relax on the gay beach you should walk straight down to the beach from the 12:th street volleyball plan, there are all the gays. The whole daylong the gays go to Palace Bar & Grill at 1200 Ocean Drive, for a breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink. At night you start the party at the Twist bar witch is very popular. We also were good boys and went daily to Bodytech gym at 1253 Washington Avenue. Generally speaking most of the boys are very wellbuilt.

We were lucky to go to the Phoenix Rising at Warsaw Disco at 1450 Collins Avenue for a hot New Years party, thanks to our Swedish friend Stefan. To keep up at witch bar or disco that is good a special night you should look at the flyers that you get at the gay beach or at the different shops, bars and discos. We had a wonderful holiday at Miami South Beach.
