This site is dedicated to Jonny Lang, one of
the greatest guitarplayers today.
Jonny Lang was born on January 29:th, 1981 in Fargo, North Dakota. He was originally named Johnny Langseth Jr. Later his family moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He changed his name to Jonny Lang when his music career started. On his 13:th birthday he got a guitar from his father. He started getting lessons from Ted Larsen, a member of the "Bad Medicine Blues Band". Jonny soon joined the band wich renamed it self "to Kid Jonny Lang and the big bang". They released the independent album Smokin. Jonny signed with A&M Records and in 1996 he released his second album Lie to me
wich was a great sucsess. His band includes Bruce McCabe on Keyboard, Paul Diethelm on Rhythm Guitar,
Doug Nelson on Bass and Billy Thommes on Drums.
Jonny has played with legends such as B.B King and Buddy Guy.
Jonny appeares in the movie Blues Brothers 2000, in wich he plays a janitor. He also sings and plays a solo in the all time blues classic
634-5689.
Jonny´s 3:rd album Wander this world came out in 1998.
