Offer for contest managers

As stated in other places I have no intention to expand the market of this software. If you are interested anyway I hereby give you the following offer:

You may get access to the same version as the swedish contest manager but:

• I can not offer a guaranteed response time if (when) you have problems. Not even the swedish manager get this. However I normally fix showstoppers within 24 hours.
• The software may not be shared outside those who manage the contest. You are of cource allowed to have a stand-in.
• The softwares user interface is written in swedish. It will not be translated to start with as this is a major undertaking.
• Currently there is no support for the two power classes proposed but cancelled for SM. I have added a feature to include the class information provided from the participant in the result lists. Then everyone can compare their own results with anyone of their choice.
• The output format currently does not comply with what I have found on the OZ and LA pages (none found for OH). Using the XML + XSLT functions it should be possible to get individual lists formatted very close but currently not the toplists.
• For as long as there are no special features for your contry, there software and updates will be provided free of charge.
• If I make changes that are country specific (I doubt I ever will) I will think about if I would ask for anything in return. Providing different versions for different users results in much more work so, I really dont like the idea.
• There is no up to date documentation.
• Source code for the full product will not be provided (unless you make me an offer I cannot refuse).
• I reserve the right to cancel development at any time. What will happen to the source code when that day comes will have to be discussed with the users.
• Due to the latest development regarding rule changes I have as a safety measure inserted a limit regarding for which year the software will work.

There is also a thinking-list. That is, a list of things I think about sometime and perhaps will implement when enough time is available. The largest things on this list currently are:

• Additional EDI-format support (Cabrillo, ADIF, XDIF)
• Automatic mail log handling (using OZ2M's EMMA(?) software)
• Automatic web-site update

If you want access to the program I want to see a proof somewhere on your national ham radio societys home page that clearly states that you are the appointed contest manager and your E-mail address. A time limited copy can be sent for evaluation purposes.
