Welcome to Millesgårdens new homepage!

Millesgården is one of Stockholms most visited and popular attractions. Millesgården was the home of sculptor Carl Milles at Lidingö. The beautiful terraces give you a magnificent view over Stockholm. The artist's most important works are represented here. Carl Milles' collections contain objects of art from among others ancient Greece, Rome and european Medieaval and Renaissance art.

The last year of this millennium constitutes a new beginning of Millesgården. At the end of 1998 the construction of a new exhibition-area was begun, which is scheduled to be opened this fall. This will give room in the older facilities for many of Milles previously never shown works, whilst in the new hall there will be space for temporary exhibitions.

Millesgarden arranges as always temporary exhibitions and concerts, you will find imformation of current happenings on this site. There is a shop from where you can order replicas of Milles art directly via this homepage or by phone/fax. Millesgården has a nice trendy café. If you want to make special reservations please go to the cafésection located at this site.
